During WW1 it is on record that Hitler was regarded by many of his fellow soldiers serving in the trenches, as having homosexual "ways." Was Hitler in denial, hence the relentless policy of persecution for anyone deemed gay? Their fate in Nazi concentration and death camps has of course been well documented.
