U.S. Refrains From Declaring Haqqani Terrorist Group on Pakistan Concerns - Bloomberg: "The Obama administration isn’t ready to declare the Haqqani group in Pakistan a “foreign terrorist organization” even after Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the group attacked the U.S. embassy and American troops in Afghanistan.
“We are continuing to review whether to designate” the Haqqani organization, State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said yesterday.
"We'll wait til they've blown up every friggin' NATO truck first. We've asked the Pakis' to stop their friends in the Haqqani, which is a bit like asking or expecting pond life to bloom in Death Valley. Very much off the record: 'The Pakistanis are shit-bagin' us while the US tax payer is passing over billions of dollars to these corrupt, dysfuntioning bastards. We should ditch the Islamic serpents and team up with democratic India...but you can't get one-term Obama to decide. And remember...you didn't hear that from me!'
