Rev. Jesse Jackson says his son - Jackson Junior - is going to Mayo for a checkup. The elder Jackson said on Sunday that doctors will determine whether the congressman needs to stay longer. Hm...there's a line in a poem by Philip Larkin: "parents fuck you up." Empirical evidence if ever I saw it!
