Peace Studies Professor: 'Two Sides' to Auschwitz


According to the so called father of the "peace studies" movement, who recently told the Israeli Ha'aretz newspaper that there were two sides to every position...even the German genocide factory called Auschwitz. Yeah Prof: One side is called "the victims" but what would you call the perpetrators of mass murder? Galtung, 82-years-old, is one of the founders of the discipline called “Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution,” as well as a founder of the international Peace Research Institute in Oslo. He is considered well-respected sociological researcher, has been awarded many prizes, and is the author of over a thousand articles and over a hundred books.
Peace Studies is based on the premise that all conflicts can be resolved through peaceful, nonviolent means. It’s the height of moral relativism, holding that both sides have legitimate grievances and are rational, that both sides can and should make compromises, and that both sides have a responsibility to listen and consider each other’s arguments.

You can see what the problem is? When you're dealing with tolerant, live and let live people, perhaps his - can't we all sit down together, have a few cookies and a pot of coffee to sort things out between us philosophy - might be applied. But with the Nazi, the Pol Pot and Islamofascist creed?

In 82 years he's obviously learned sweet F.A. about the real world and human nature. And the Professor's spawn of "Peace Now" and their counterparts around the globe, all desiring and believing his wish-it-could-all-be-peace-love and understanding message, are equally naive and dangerously deluded. 
For when you're up against the totalitarian mentality, there's no agenda except it's either you or them; and any lions lying down with lambs won't ever come to pass in this dimension of space-time, Professor...
