iCloud's a comin'

I watched Mr S. Jobs, latter day saviour to the Apple anointed, speaking in exalted tones about the second coming...or so one might mistakenly have thought if one was not aware that the holy one was actually talking about the coming iCloud. Pacing the stage like a thin black clothed magician, a photo of some spiral galaxy over his right shoulder as if to convey to the assembled believers that iCloud will not quite be of this world.  Cloud Computing: An Ad agency and PR's digital dream word for a great big main frame with some tricky software which, in Apple's case, cost around $1 billion.Yep, the coming iCloud. Not residing up there beyond some geek heaven, but to be found kinda more down in the dirt in North Carolina, US of A.  

Memo to Mr Jobs: Google got their Cloud up and floating some time before you...fade out to that old Stones track...
