ISLAMIST FINALLY HOOKED!

Terror Tosser Extradited to U.S.
Abu Hamza al-Muasri, which in Arabic loosely translates to He Of The Hook; wanted everywhere except Pluto, will be banged up in the U.S. til the Muslim Brotherhood open a chain of pubs in Egypt and march in a Gay Pride parade...
Yes, I have trouble wipin' my own ass.

Marathon Folk And Their "Depends" Future?

Marathon Runners At Risk Of Incontinence!
While many marathon runners, male and female, may be preoccupied with shin splints, chafing and blisters come race day, one thing they may not consider is their bladder health. "Added stress on the body that comes with running a marathon can cause urinary stress incontinence problems during the race or later in life," said Dr Melinda Abernethy.
SO, NOW THERE'S GOOD SCIENCE BEHIND ME BEING A COUCH POTATO!

Did I finish, get nearly finished or just piss myself?

IT'S ALL JUST NUMBERS, FOLKS.

What Number Is Halfway Between 1 and 9? Is it 5—or 3?
Ask adults from the industrialized world what number is halfway between 1 and 9, and most will say 5. But pose the same question to small children, or people living in some traditional societies, and they're likely to answer 3. Cognitive scientists theorize that that's because it's actually more natural for humans to think logarithmically than linearly: 30 is 1, and 32 is 9, so logarithmically, the number halfway between them is 31, or 3. Are you following this? Nope? More homework for you lot tonight then!

NO MORE GAS, OR KEBABS.

EU Poised To Agree On Ban Of Iranian Gas Imports! The United States, since 1995, has banned US firms from investing in Iranian oil and gas and from trading with Iran. The European Union has been much slower to ban Iranian energy. Let's see now, oh look, it's only 17 YEARS. A dead snail going in reverse could have done it quicker, but at least they have. Meanwhile, Islamist Turkey, who haven't agreed to any such thing, will keep on helping out their little friend, Genocide Joe. Remember now, not one more kebab even if you're pissed.

DINO CORNER.

A new dinosaur the size of a house cat and described as a cross between "a bird, a vampire and a porcupine" has been identified. And had it still been around, the same pond life swamp dwellers who keep pet alligators til they get bored and then release them beside a supermarket, would be the first in line to buy one at their local PET PRATS R US.

It's not a ferret, so don't be slippin' it down inside your trousers.

CLOAKING DEVICE? I'LL HAVE TWO PLEASE.

Physicists in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT have developed a new theory derived from calculations that suggest it should be possible to construct an electron cloaking device, similar in principle to invisibility cloaks that other researchers have created using meta-materials. The team, whose study was recently published in Physical Review suggests that such a cloaking device could be useful in making semiconductors that optimize electron mobility. (Oh...and hiding from the boss, tax collectors and folk you owe money to).
Anyone seen the bleedin' cat?

Israel: Tel Aviv, The Place To Be!

Tel Aviv Among 25 Most Innovative Cities! A total of 25 cities were selected from hundreds of candidates in a competiton sponsored by Citibank. Tel Aviv is competing against New York, London, Berlin, Chicago, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sao Paolo, Toronto, Vienna, Copenhagen, and others. High tech and super beaches were among the reasons given. In July this year, leading travel magazine CondeNast ranked Tel Aviv as one of the world's 10 best cities for architecture lovers. "Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Tel Aviv's 'White City' contains 4,000 International Style buildings, many of which are in the Bauhaus style and were built in the 1930s and 1940s," CondeNast's website noted. Lonely Planet voted Tel Aviv among the top 10 ultimate party cities.
