As talk of an imminent Israeli strike on the Iranian nuclear program intensifies, American diplomatic sources have reportedly said that the U.S. will provide logistical support for Israel in the event of such an attack, as well as an "air umbrella" to help cope with possible retaliation. The Israeli daily Maariv reported these developments on Monday, and apparently emphasized the large role played by electoral considerations by both Obama and Romney...and therefore, the US would not take part in any actual action against Iran.

Full of moralising hot air

In WW2 with Europe under Nazi occupation, for two years Britain stood and fought on alone. The US supplied Britain with much needed hardware, food and a credit line (at a handsome profit with interest, I might add). Moral considerations for the land of the free to actually fight for freedom and enter the war against the Nazis was never a consideration...until that is, the Japanese came calling. Once again it's expedience over all other considerations.
So...the next time some US politicians talk some fucking bollocks about America's moral superiority in their back slappin' mutual appreciation society, they can stick it up their wide, expedient ass holes!
