You couldn't present the following as a script to Hollywood, as even they would regard it as not a plausible plot...but folks, guess what?...
Earlier this month, Syria was nominated to a seat on the U.N. Human Rights Council by the despots and totalitarian regimes which now make up the biggest proportion of the UN. Now, we can all relish the thought of Sudan also being up for a seat on the Council. That’s right, Sudan — run by Omar al-Bashir, a man indicted in the International Criminal Court at the Hague and has a warrant out for his arrest for genocide; the person most directly responsible for the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of non Muslims in Darfur.The candidacies of Syria and Sudan will now go for a vote before the General Assembly.
Which means Syria (currently killing its own people by the thousands) and Sudan (which spent the past decade killing its own people by the hundreds of thousands) will probably spend the next three years sitting in judgment of human rights abuses of free, open, democratic societies like…you guessed it…

It really is well past time that the Obama Administration do the only honorable thing and withdraw US participation in this rogue’s gallery of human rights abusers, and just tell the UN to relocate to a more suitable location...like Tehran. The western democracies should establish a genuine forum, as the UN has long since lost any moral credibility,except it seems for the liberal media; who still continue to quote it's pronouncements, especially when it is some Israel bashing resolution.
