As Israel gears up for the 2012 Olympics, which are set to begin today in London, Elder of Ziyon points to a 2002 article in Sports Illustrated that connects the dots between the 1972 Munich Massacre of 11 Israeli athletes and the putative “moderate” Palestinian leader, Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas:

Though he
allegedly didn’t know what the money was being spent for,
longtime Fatah official Mahmoud Abbas, aka Abu Mazen, was responsible for the financing of the Munich attack! Abbas could not be reached for comment regarding the allegation of the Munich attack mastermind, the late Abu Daoud. After Oslo in 1993, Abbas went to the White House Rose Garden for a photo op with Arafat, and President Clinton.
The Sports Illustrated article also notes that, when Daoud died in 2010, Abbas sent a telegram of condolence, presumably to Daoud’s relatives, that spoke of Daoud as “a wonderful brother, companion, tough and stubborn, relentless fighter.” (C) The Sports Illustrated (Photos Copyright Control)

Abbas has effusive praise for an unrepentant terrorist with blood on his hands, therefore by what definition does this qualify Abbas as a “moderate” and a so called partner in peace? Fatah and Hamas are the same Islamofascist snake with a head at each end and the very same agenda: the demise of the State of Israel.
