We’ve been treated lately to an Iran-rationality fest. In February it was U.S. chief of staff Martin Dempsey saying Iran’s government was a “rational actor.”The New York Times, (who else!) one could say, ate it up. A day after Diskin’s pronouncements, it ran a piece called “Experts Believe Iran Conflict Is Less Likely,”claiming that the “threat of tighter economic sanctions,” the “revival of direct negotiations,” had led “American officials and outside analysts” to believe that the “chances of war in the near future have significantly decreased.” 

(Meanwhile, back in the real world...) The problem with the Iran-rationality fest is that Iran refuses to join in. This week Iran’s English-language Fars News Agency website—regularly scoured by Western Iran-observers—has run a report rather brazenly titled “Iranian Navy Able to Deploy Vessels Three Miles off New York Coasts.” Then on Friday, the IRGC Aerospace Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said the Islamic republic’s military is also capable of crippling or disabling US aircraft carriers. 

“First, sinking an aircraft carrier is not a complicated task,” Hajizadeh said. “Second, an aircraft carrier is equipped with so many advanced, delicate, and sensitive devices…that it could be incapacitated by even the smallest explosion.”

It's not an ELEPHANT and this is certainly NOT a room!

These are unpleasant words at a time when such nice things are being said about Iran, as the world powers gear up for the second round of nuclear talks with the mullahs in Baghdad on May 23. After the first round in Istanbul on April 14, EU foreign policy chief *Catherine Ashton glowingly foresaw “a comprehensive negotiated solution which restores international confidence in the exclusively peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program.”

Peace Studies Professor: 'Two Sides' to Auschwitz

According to the so called father of the "peace studies" movement, who recently told the Israeli Ha'aretz newspaper that there were two sides to every position...even the German genocide factory called Auschwitz. Yeah Prof: One side is called "the victims" but what would you call the perpetrators of mass murder? Galtung, 82-years-old, is one of the founders of the discipline called “Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution,” as well as a founder of the international Peace Research Institute in Oslo. He is considered well-respected sociological researcher, has been awarded many prizes, and is the author of over a thousand articles and over a hundred books.

Peace Studies is based on the premise that all conflicts can be resolved through peaceful, nonviolent means. It’s the height of moral relativism, holding that both sides have legitimate grievances and are rational, that both sides can and should make compromises, and that both sides have a responsibility to listen and consider each other’s arguments.

You can see what the problem is? When you're dealing with tolerant, live and let live people, perhaps his - can't we all sit down together, have a few cookies and a pot of coffee to sort things out between us philosophy - might be applied. But with the Nazi, the Pol Pot and Islamofascist creed?

Yesterday in the midst of the OWS May Day protests taking place around the nation, the U.S. Justice Department revealed exactly how far some of those associated with such protests are willing to go. U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, Steven M. Dettelbach, characterized the defendants as men who “took numerous and repeated acts that demonstrated a commitment to violent, terrorist acts.” And despite efforts to distance themselves from these wannabe terrorists, Occupy Cleveland media coordinator Jacob Wagner admitted that “at least some of the five men” attended that group’s events.

An unnamed FBI official contended that, during the course of the investigation, several members of the group repeatedly complained that the Occupy Wall Street movement “wasn’t violent enough.”(C) Arnold Ahlert.

Oh you of Tribe Deluded. Spending a nano second in the company of any of the OWS should enlighten you to their scum-bag  spectrum; ranging from a goodly clutch of anti-Semites, the Sisterhood bongo brigade to your full-frontal Leltie psychos. Aside from provoking shock, disgust, and denial, last week’s news of Egyptian parliamentarians trying to pass a “farewell intercourse” law legalizing sex with one’s wife up to six hours after she dies has yet to be fully appreciated. To start, consider the ultimate source of this practice: it’s neither the Muslim Brotherhood nor the Salafis; rather, as with most of Islam’s perversities—from adult breastfeeding to pedophilia marriage—Islamic necrophilia is traced to the fount of Islam, its prophet Muhammad, as found in a hadith (or tradition) that exists in no less than six of Islam’s classical reference texts, including Kanz al-‘Umal by Mutaqi al-Hindi and Al-Hujja fi Biyan al-Mahujja, an authoritative text on Sunni Doctrine, by Abu Qassim al-Asbahani.

According to this hadith, Muhammad took off his shirt and placed it on a dead woman and “lay” with her in the grave.  The buriers proceeded to bury the corpse and the prophet with dirt, exclaiming, “O Prophet, we see you do a thing you never did with anyone else,” to which Muhammad responded: “I have dressed her in my shirt so that she may be dressed in heavenly robes, and I have laid with her in her grave so that the pressures of the grave [also known as Islam’s “torments of the grave”] may be alleviated from her.” (C) Raymond Ibrihim

Appeaser, Concessions And Ball Dropper...

Obama doing his Mr Chamberlain act...yet again!

President Barack Obama is prepared to make a major concession to Iran on uranium enrichment. The Obama administration thinks that talks two weeks ago in Turkey between Iran and Western leaders left the United States with a more optimistic outlook that Iran will be more flexible to solve the crisis over its unsupervised nuclear development.

Obama knows nothing about the ultimate surrender monkey of pre-WW2...and given that Islam backed the Nazis it's little wonder any Islamic schooling he received didn't much touch on such a subject; and there doesn't seem to be anyone in Obama's administration that has a friggin' clue.

If the Iranians said that they were going to sponsor a Gay Pride parade, *Jay Carney would be gushing some bollocks while signing up his fellow White house *numpties for some trust-game mush. And this lot might be the government after November 2012? Oh, please, please NO!

James Vernon Taylor (born March 12, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter and guitaist. A five-time Grammy Award winner, Taylor was inducted into the Rock an' Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. Taylor achieved his major breakthrough in 1970 with the #3 single "Fire and Rain" and had his first #1 hit the following year with "You've Got a Friend", a recording of Carole King's classic song. His 1976 Greatest Hits album was certified Diamond and has sold 12 million US copies.

Following his 1977 album, JT, he has retained a large audience over the decades. His commercial achievements declined slightly until a big resurgence during the late 1990s and 2000s, when some of his best-selling and most-awarded albums (including Hourglass, October Road and Covers) were released. Taylor became the first non-British act signed to the Beatles Apple label. Taylor recorded what would become his first album from July to October 1968 at Trident Studios, at the same time The Beatles were recording The White Album. McCartney and an uncredited George Harrison guested on "Carolina In My Mind" whose lyric "holy host of others standing around me" referred to the Beatles, while the title phrase of Taylor's "Something in the Way She Moves" provided the lyrical starting point for Harrison's classic "Something." The feature track "Handyman" was written by Otis Blackwell (Wikipedia).

Those were not the words of some back alley preacher, but of noted Moscow lawyer, Dagir Khasavov, giving an interview to a television station about his proposal to implement Sharia courts in Russia. 
Interspersed with footage of death sentences being executed, Khasavov spoke about his new organization that would protect Muslim rights and claimed that his proposal was only the beginning of a worldwide expansion.
“We are going to expand this net, we will begin in Russia, first Asia, and then everything will be encompassed, as it was in the Caliphate,” Khasavov said.
