74 Anti-Israel Democrats!

Even as Israel faces attack from Iran, Egypt and Gaza, 74 House Democrats joined up with J Street's position. J Street, (incase you're unaware) are a radical group that essentially advocates for the destruction of the State of Israel. J Street, as Breitbart.com editor-in-chief Joel Pollak has pointed out, has among other anti positions, opposed sanctions against Iran. 

Recently, J Street has purportedly backed off of some positions, perhaps at the behest of the Obama administration, which has been feeling so much heat from the Jewish community that it reportedly asked Media Matters to dump its in-house anti-Semite. 

The newest J Street initiative is a letter which advocates effectively forcing Israel into concessions with terror groups. Below is a full list of the signatories to the J Street letter; named after Cohen-Yarmuth-Connolly, the three members of Congress: Steve Cohen (D-TN), John Yarmuth (D-KY), and Gerry Connolly (D-VA).

J Street is an attempt to build a counterweight to AIPAC that could sucker Jews into supporting the Democrats no matter how anti-Israel they become. One crucial factor in accomplishing this goal is creating the perception that Jews in Congress, just must be pro-Israel since they’re Jewish. Actually many *DO NOT SUPPORT ISRAEL but back J Street!

J Street remains an extremist organization, and one dedicated to harming Israel. And the Congresspeople who signed onto this letter – with a few exceptions — are generally no friends to Israel. Chris Van Hollen, for example, urged the Bush administration to back a ceasefire during the Israel-Lebanon war that would have protected Hezbollah; Jim McDermott, when he wasn’t spending time flacking for Saddam Hussein, was voting against a House Resolution supporting

Given that some past US Presidents couldn't keep the snake away from the charmer, it's not so surprising that some of the chaps get frisky away from home from time to time. Nazi Gold: What's not here, the Swiss will have!

Switzerland on Monday extended some financial sanctions against Iran, but stopped short of freezing the assets of Iran's central bank and imposing an oil embargo. The move by Europe's officially neutral nation underscored an huge policy rift with other Western powers over Tehran's nuclear ambitions.
The Swiss Federal Council (cabinet) opted to freeze the assets of eight companies and three individuals in a move it claims puts Geneva largely in line with restrictive measures voted by the European Union in January.
But the Swiss Economics Ministry made it clear that the country famous for both its banking secrecy laws and no-questions asked policies of its bankers, would not follow the EU in freezing the assets of the Iranian central bank "due to its importance for the Iranian economy." As such, *Geneva has turned itself into a banking sanctions loophole through which Iranian oil can be bought and sold. Nothing new about the Swiss, then: Pristine mountains, you can eat your dinner off any street and clocks go cuckoo...but... given Iran's stated desires to finish Hitler's "Final Solution" program, you'd hope that this time they might put morals before filthy lucre? Not a friggin' chance: these bastards have a moral by-pass!

Flabby And A Joke!

Comparing our foreign policy to the feckless behavior of the UK and France before WW2 in the 1930's is often dismissed as an overused and simplistic historical analogy. But when one watches the US and other western governments pursue appeasing policies toward North Korea and Iran that over and over repeat the very same errors and delusions of that awful decade, it’s hard not to make those comparisons.

* "Those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it."

One lesson from the Thirties is that appeasing an aggressor encourages not just that one, but also others. The key act of appeasement of that decade’s many took place in March 1936, when Hitler remilitarized the Rhineland with 22,000 unseasoned troops and 14,000 policemen, violating both the Versailles and Locarno treaties. Facing them were nearly 100 French and Belgian divisions! Of course they did nothing, even though, as Hitler later confessed, “If the French had then marched into the Rhineland we would have had to withdraw with our tails between our legs.”
 Now consider the decades-long appeasement of North Korea and the way it has emboldened the Iranians to follow the Kim family playbook for acquiring nuclear weapons. Just last week, newly minted North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un defied U.N. resolutions and American threats by launching a missile that could deliver a nuclear payload to the West Coast of America. As John Bolton tirelessly keeps reminding us, leaving Iran in control of the knowledge and facilities needed to create nuclear weapons, while letting them continue to enrich uranium even to 20%, merely postpones the ultimate reckoning.
As Winston Churchill once said, before becoming the WW2 Prime Minister of the UK; because of their appeasement policies the Nazis saw the UK and Europe as “a frightened, flabby old woman, who at the worst would only bluster”
