Quite a few folk had a wee bit of trouble with Kenneth: IE the Roman Catholic Church wasn't his biggest fan. I remember watching the lives of various classical composers on BBC tv many moons ago and for a lot of young people it may very well have been their first introduction to classical music. 

May he be rolling his film once more in another dimension of this mysterious universe...

Arab League Imposes Sanctions On Syria Regime!

"BEIRUT—The Arab League overwhelmingly approved sanctions on Sunday against Syria to pressure Damascus to end its deadly eight-month crackdown on dissent, an unprecedented move by the League against an Arab state." (WSJ).

Assad, being a serial nose and ear pickin' guy with a taste for a good nut, will be so, so mad!" Never let it be said that we in the Arab League don't know how to, as you Brits say, 'stick the boot in.'

Israel using saltwater, sewage to grow trees in desert - The Times of India: "JERUSALEM: Scientists in Israel are growing trees in the barren land of the Arava desert by using recycled sewage and saltwater.
This forest planted over the summer is soaking up harmful excess carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and releasing beneficial oxygen, Israel's nocamels.com reported.
