Patrick Cox: *F.F.B.

The well-known and controversial tax advisory firm, TaxMasters Inc., *filed for bankruptcy this morning, just as it was preparing to head to court to defend itself from charges of deceptive practices leveled by the Texas attorney general.
Hi...It's me. Patrick Cox. Looks like we've pissed on
the chips...hm...kinda looks like we should have gotten
another Tax Master to do our own returns.
The Houston-based company, best known for a national advertising campaign that made company's bearded, red-haired founder Patrick Cox a recognizable figure, was the subject of an ABC News investigation in April, in which customers had alleged that the company persuaded them to pay large upfront fees, but never delivered on promises of helping them resolve their tax problems. The commercials boast that the company's staff of former IRS agents and tax professionals "have helped many good people just like you."

Uncle Albert E, Leaves Them For All!

JERUSALEM: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem on Monday launched an updated version of its online Einstein Archives website, providing access to more than 80,000 documents connected to the seminal physicist. One of the founders of the Hebrew University, Albert Einstein bequeathed all his writings and intellectual heritage to the institution.

The Universe, Science and letters of love...
The new website will eventually enable the public to access 40,000 documents sourced from Einstein’s personal papers, and over 30,000 additional Einstein and Einstein-related items discovered since the 1980s, Hebrew University said. Among the new documents available through the website are Einstein’s 1930 letter to the editor of the newspaper Falastin, on the Jewish-Arab conflict, a postcard to his sick mother, and a letter from a young mistress. Islam: You're Raped? Just Marry Him!

Forcing Women to Marry Their Rapists!
(Photo: Copyright Control).
While American progressives remain in high dudgeon over a woman’s “right” to “free” government-provided contraception, a genuine woman’s rights issue has been unfolding in Morocco. In Larache, near the city of Tangiers, 16-year-old Amina Filali committed suicide after she was forced by a judge to marry. Whom did the judge force her to marry? Her rapist."The prosecutor advised my daughter to marry, he said ‘go and make the marriage contract,' "  said Lahcen Filali, the girl’s father. Thus, once again the wonders of Sharia-based jurisprudence are revealed! Marrying one’s rapist simultaneously “restores” that honor and exonerates the rapist of his crime. In many cases of reported sexual misconduct, Sharia Law puts the burden of proof on the victim. If a woman can’t prove she was attacked, she risks being prosecuted for debauchery.(C) Arnold Ahlert.
Ah...Sharia Law! What, no outrage from the usual suspects? Muslims in Arab countries have at least some kind of warped excuse, them having the unfortunate experience of being born into their mad and bad 7th century existance; but where's your excuse, western Lefties and the Silent Sisterhood? The word "hypocrisy" must have been coined just for the likes of you tossers!

Terror In Toulouse...

Gunman opens fire on Jewish school in Toulouse, France

Four dead, including rabbi and two children.

The shooting took place at a drop-off point outside the Otzar Hatorah school, at about 8:10 a.m. Police say the man shot into a group of several people. The shooter is believed to have ridden on a black motorbike and is reported to have used two weapons.
Despite the lack of information, it's reports that other students were severely wounded and are still in critical condition. There is no doubt that all eyes are now on the possibility that radical Islamists and/or someone sympathetic to the Arab cause are behind the shooting. (Times of Israel) (Map: Copyright Control).

Yes, We Have No Bananas...

Today, as suspicions about Iran’s nuclear ambitions have provoked tough sanctions and threats of military confrontation, top administration officials in the US have said that Iran still has not decided to pursue a weapon, reflecting the intelligence community’s secret analysis. An Intel official said: “Iran is the hardest intelligence target there is. It is harder by far than North Korea. “I’d say that I have about 75 percent confidence in the assessment that they haven’t restarted the program,” (NYT)

You're assessment of our non
Nuke program is just sooo brilliant!
Hey...75%  "confidence" is a good mark if we were talking Iran having or having not mastered the art of deep fried Mars bars...but..."top administration officials" assessment based on a hunch, crystal ball and a opinion taken at Joe's Diner? If this is your collective best; pink slips and early baths for all!

A Death On The Nile And The Saudi Disciple of Destruction!

Egypt's Coptic Pope Shenuda III dies!

Named Coptic pope of Alexandria in 1971, Shenuda led the Copts, estimated at 10 percent of Egypt's population of 80 million, for the best part of a generation that saw Egypt hit by a wave of Islamic militancy from which he sought to protect it. News of Shenuda's death was certain to cause dismay among Egypt's beleaguered Coptic population, many of whom looked up to him as a spiritual guide.
Shenuda, whose community is one of the Oriental Orthodox churches that recognise the primacy of neither the Catholic papacy nor the Eastern Orthodox patriarchate, maintained a keen interest in promoting church unity. He served as head of both the World Council of Churches and the Middle East Council of Churches, and founded churches in several African countries. (AP)

Meanwhile...last Monday, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, declared that it is “necessary to destroy all the churches of the region.”

Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah is not just some random Muslim hating of churches. He is the Grand Mufti of the nation that brought Islam to the world. Moreover, he is the President of the Supreme Council of Ulema [Islamic scholars] and Chairman of the Standing Committee for Scientific Research and Issuing of Fatwas. Accordingly, when it comes to what Islam teaches, his words are immensely authoritative.
Imagine what would happen if a Christian counterpart to the Grand Mufti, say the Pope, were to declare that all mosques in Italy must be destroyed! Yet the Grand Mufti—the highest Islamic law authority of our “friend-and-ally” Saudi Arabia—gets a free pass when he incites Muslims to destroy churches.

All of this is nothing short of a scandal—a reminder of just how deep the mainstream media, academia, and most politicians have their collective heads thrust in the sand when it comes to standing up to intolerance of Islam. This is the latest piece of evidence of just how bad churches have it in the Muslim world, for those who care to know.

Einstein 1 Neutrinos 0

The new measurements were made by a team working independently from the scientists who had made the tentative but hugely controversial claim about "faster-than-light" particles. Their findings "indicate the neutrinos do not exceed the speed of light," the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN) said in a press release.

Hm...Anyone got a new battery?My calculator's been at
the beer again.
When the OPERA team went public with their findings, they predictably unleashed a barrage of tough questions. Particles that travel faster than light would smash a hole in Albert Einstein's 1905 theory of special relativity, a cornerstone of modern physics.

Albert Einstein, expressing his opinion of
that faster than the speed of light bollocks.
"If this result at CERN is proved to be right, and particles are found to travel faster than the speed of light, then I am prepared to eat my shorts, live on TV," Jim Al-Khalili, a professor of theoretical physics at Britain's University of Surrey, declared at the time. No shorts are reported to have been consumed which is just as well, as a very hot vindaloo took the blame for a less than mild eruption in that geographic area.
