Iran: Sanctions,Simpltons And A Presidential Shirker!

US President Barack Obama convinced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to give international sanctions on Iran more time, according to Washington sources cited.
Like Chamberlain (the appeasing PM of the UK before Churchill took over at the start of WW2) Obama does not grasp the mentality of the Iranian regime.

The proof: he believes that sanctions will bring Iran to it's senses, even as Russia and Asian countries bust that balony balloon before his eyes. Time: the only commodity that should be sanctioned. Over the years, the Iranians have swung and twirled UN inspection teams and dim Western politicians along with most of the liberal media. Churchill said at the beginning of the 1930's that the "Nazis were a bunch of criminals" and will have to be stopped. The British establishment called him a war monger. Obama despises Churchill (remember he sent his bust back to the UK when he first took office). Obama is not a leader, he's a committee man. And in a world with a nuclear Iran and Islam in Caliphate mode once more, Obama is one great liability. Voting Obama out of office in November 2012 should be an obligation, nay a duty, for even dyed in the wool Democrats.

Well Tommy L; lets look at the "democratic awakenings in places like Egypt" shall we? A 70 percent vote for Islamist parties, with the Muslim Brotherhood taking the largest slice of the cake of madness. Haven't the foggiest who the M.B. are Tommy? Then here's a version that can be read in front of the children.
The Muslim Brotherhood are an Islamist organization that has raised troops to fight Israel, called for global jihad against infidels and martyrdom for its youth. They want an Islamic state founded in Sharia Law and they have been behind the persecution of Coptic Christians. A Muslim Brotherhood gang assassinated former Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and the Brotherhood inspire and maintains links with Islamic Jihad and al-Qaeda among others. Oh...and Hamas is now the defacto creature of the Bros.

Obama: Nothing Is Going Down On My Watch!

As Obama and his Clan keep piling sanctions on Iran's poor and middle class, the Regime get rich and do a moony at the Pres...calculating he won't do squit to stop them. Would that he will suprise me!

Arab countries have consistently demanded more forceful American action against Iran. Saudi Arabia, for instance, delivered “frequent exhortations to the U.S. to attack Iran,” demanding it “cut off the head of the snake.” Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed of Abu Dhabi warned that “[Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad is Hitler.” King Hamad of Bahrain said Iran’s nuclear program “must be stopped,” because “the danger of letting it go on is greater than the danger of stopping it.” Lebanon’s Saad Hariri urged military action by saying, “Iraq was unnecessary. Iran is necessary.” A senior Jordanian official said even though bombing Iran would have “catastrophic” consequences, “he nonetheless thought preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons would pay enough dividends to make it worth the risks.”

What all these countries know is that they, rather than Israel, might well be Iran’s first targets – but unlike Israel, they lack the military capability even to credibly threaten to attack Iran themselves. And because these countries include some of the world’s major oil producers, that should be of great concern to the West.

None of this means the Iranian threat to Israel isn’t real: Even if a nuclear Iran never attacked Israel directly, it could still wreak havoc via satellite groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. But Israel is far from being the only country threatened by Iran. And it’s about time Western pundits and policymakers woke up to that fact.

Following article by Joseph Puder: Shortly after the Second Lebanon war between Israel and Hezbollah, the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee held hearings on the Global Reach of Hezbollah’s cells. The Committee heard testimony regarding the capabilities of Hezbollah to attack the U.S. and other western targets. The protocol from the hearing clearly established Hezbollah’s “wide reaches” under the military leadership of Imad Mugniyah, who was assassinated in February 2008 in Damascus, Syria.

U.S. Representative Ed Royce, Chairman of the International Terrorism and Nonproliferation Subcommittee, had this to say during the hearings: “Hezbollah isn’t just a menace to Israel, Lebanon and the region. According to the State Department terrorism report, Hezbollah has ‘established cells in Europe, Africa, South America, North America, and Asia.’ “One witness,” Rep. Royce continued, “will tell us that Hezbollah’s organizational and logistic network exists in over 40 countries; this includes a significant presence in our own hemisphere, in the tri-border region of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. The network operates in West Africa, where Hezbollah has been active trading ‘blood diamonds,’ an issue the Africa Subcommittee explored when I chaired it.
Rep. Royce added, “Many Americans may be surprised to learn that Hezbollah’s global reach includes significant activities on U.S. soil.”  Royce characterized Hezbollah as posing a “grave threat” and, he repeated a statement made by a former Deputy Secretary of State in 2002 that, “Hezbollah may be the A-team of terrorists and maybe al-Qaeda is actually the B-team.” He added, “Hezbollah’s lethality is magnified by the support it receives from state sponsors of terrorism, primarily Iran.” (C) Joseph Puder.

Israel: Second In World For Number In Higher Education!

Israel is a world leader when it comes to academics, according to a report compiled recently by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD). The OECD report shows that Israel is ranked second among OECD member countries in terms of the number of academics.

And 45 percent of the Israeli population has a post-secondary education, the report found. Israel’s second place puts it ahead of many Western countries, including Japan, the UK, Finland, New Zealand and even the United States.
The report also states that Israel’s rating is particularly impressive in light of the ongoing budget cuts in higher education between the years 2000 and 2009. The only country that ranked ahead of Israel is Canada, where 50 percent of the population has a post-secondary education.
Jewish mothers traditionally – and are the butt of many jokes and books because of it – encourage their children to excel in school and go on to study academic professions. Jewish Agency head, Natan Sharansky, speaking at the World Emunah Convention’s dinner this week, said that during Communist times, when religion was forbidden, one of the ways Russians could tell a family was Jewish was by its dedication to education.
Israel has been a member of the OECD since 2010. In October of that year, the organization held its bi-annual tourism conference in Jerusalem.

Islam's Groundhog Day...

Thinks: Why do I get a distinct feeling
I've done this before?

Groundhog Day is the long eternal tragedy of Islam, which always sees its shadow and always ends up with six weeks, six months or six hundred years of more winter. That hopeful time when the bitter cold of winter begins its slow transition into the warmth and renewal of spring never comes for Islam.
In a reversal of the cycle of season, the Arab Spring led to the Islamic Winter, but that is the endless pattern of Islamic attempts at reform and rejuvenation, which rather than finding renewal in their attempts at transformation only go on perpetuating the same cycle of violence, tyranny and oppression.
The Islamic leaders of one generation endorse the tyrants whom the Islamic leaders of another generation strive to overthrow. Hardly had Mohammed kicked the bucket than his nearest and dearest were fighting a civil war over supreme rulership. The origins of the Shiite-Sunni split lay not in theology, but in a vulgar power play between Mohammed’s relatives. That greedy infighting has hardened into theological variations, but underneath they remain fixed in the same patterns of warring over power and wealth.
Over a thousand years later the Muslim world is still dedicating all its energies to civil wars and external conflicts whose only true goal is to put money and power into the hands of its leaders. The confrontations between the prominent Shiite families running Iran and the Arab Sunni families running the Arabian gulf states are not theological, though they take place under the guise of theology. They are ethnic and economic conflicts dressed up as religious conflicts.

The ugliest elements of Islam, its bigotry (nay, hatred: my italics) toward Jews and Christians, its endless raids, its need to remove the faintest doubt about the parentage of the children of its women, are pure tribal pettiness distilled into religion by warlords and clan leaders whose understanding of theology did not extend beyond sanctifying the exercise of their personal power.
Islam was a predecessor of power movements like Communism and Nazism, its leader worship grimly real, as any cartoonist who has tried to draw a picture of Mohammed knows, or anyone who has seen Shiites cut their children bloody while crying out in mourning for Caliph Ali. Its theology is still incapable of embracing anything higher than its own will to power. Its objects of worship are its warleaders, its soldiers and its atrocities. (C) Daniel Greenfield.
