Book of the Year...Well, It Is In Iran!

 "How to Eliminate Israel, a book written by a group seminarians in the city of Qom, was being promoted at the 13th book fair held in the north eastern Province of Khorasan Province, last week.
In an interview with RASA News, Hojjat ol’Eslam Mohammad Ebrahim-Nia, who headed up the team of writers, said: “How to Eliminate Israel won the Book of the Year award in the ‘soft war’ book category at the fair. Three thousand copies of this first edition of the 180-page book has been published by the Khorasan branch of the Ministry of Islamic culture and guidance." I remember an article in The Guardian (UK) written during the time when
*Hezbollah was firing rockets onto the north of Israel. It may have been the
writer of the article or a quote from someone they had interviewed...anyway... the words written were: "we are all Hezbollah now".

Earth 2: But Is It All Rock?

BBC News - Kepler 22-b: Earth-like planet confirmed: "Astronomers have confirmed the existence of an Earth-like planet in the "habitable zone" around a star not unlike our own.

Thankfully for any Earth 2 inhabitants, we on Earth 1 are
around 6oo light-years away...so we won't be bringing to you our
love of destruction, pestilence and plague any time soon!

The planet, Kepler 22-b, lies about 600 light-years away and is about 2.4 times the size of Earth, and has a temperature of about 22C. It's the closest confirmed planet yet to one like ours - an "Earth 2.0".

However, the team does not yet know if Kepler 22-b is made mostly of rock, gas or liquid."

Now I'm not being pedantic but it's a tad disappointing not to know what to pack. And what if there's no beach or a good ale house? A bit more info about K22-b please and the marketing team will want a much catchier name too.
Oh yeah, and how far away is it? Going at the *speed of light it'll still take you 600 years to get there.
Well...that's further than the Antarctic so there'll be none of the ten day hols on offer and it would certainly be a waste for the kids to be whinging about, 'are we nearly there yet'?

CSI Issues Genocide Warning for Religious Minorities in the Middle East 

New Petition Calls on President Obama to Help Halt Religious Cleansing

WASHINGTON, Nov. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Christian Solidarity International (CSI) issued a Genocide Warning today for endangered religious minorities in the Islamic Middle East, and called on President Barack Obama to make their survival a priority as the United States responds to the "Arab Spring".

CSI simultaneously launched a petition to the President, asking him to respond to the upsurge of violence against religious minorities in the Middle East in his upcoming State of the Union Address.

Christians, Jews, Baha'i, Yezidis, Sabeans, and Ahmadias, numbering collectively over 12 million, are among the endangered minorities.

Writing today to President Obama, Dr. John Eibner, CEO of CSI-USA, stated:

"Conditions for genocide against non-Muslim communities exist in varying degrees throughout the region stretching from Pakistan to Morocco. The crisis of survival for non-Muslim communities is especially acute in Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Sudan, the Palestinian territories, Iran and Pakistan."

Eibner also reminded President Obama of genocide warnings issued this year by French President Nicholas Sarkozy and former Lebanese President Amine Gemayal.

He furthermore recalled the President's May 19 speech on events in the Middle East, in which he committed to establish universal human rights, including religious freedom, as "a top priority that must be translated into concrete actions, and supported by all of the diplomatic, economic and strategic tools at our disposal."

CSI urged President Obama to present in his State of the Union Address a Middle East
 policy that includes: 

 An appeal to the UN Secretary General for the issuance

of a Genocide Warning and the implementation

of preventative measures on the basis of Security

Council Resolution 1366 (2001).

The commitment of at least 15% of US funding pledged for the

support of democratic transition in the region, to be devoted to

combating Islamic supremacism.

And a pledge to withhold US funding for institutions that promote

religious discrimination.

Arabs Say: The Moon Belongs To Islam!

 An Arab organization opposed to everything in the world that doesn't fit into their mad, warped take on life, now say that the Western Wall in Jerusalem, Israel belongs to Islam! For Arabs/Muslims that can read English and have a desire to throw off yet another cloak of fantasy, follow the plot below...the rest can stay deluded and be a laughing stock for the rest of the civilized world.

Western Wall, Wailing Wall or Kote in Hebrew HaKotel HaMa'aravi; is located in the Old City of Jerusalem at the foot of the western side of the Temple Mount. It is a remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Jewish Temple's courtyard, and is one of the most sacred sites in Judaism outside of the Temple Mount itself. Just over half the wall, including its 17 courses located below street level, dates from the end of the Second Temple period, commonly believed to have been constructed around 1900 BC.

You see...you Arabs didn't arrive in these parts, oh until about 2300 years later! 

Indeed...King Solomon, had he still been around when you *pagan crowd of goat herders pitched your tents, wouldn't have taken kindly to your Arab ways and would more than likely have smote the lot of you.

Very Late Home From The Office Party?
