High Commissioner for Human Rights said Friday. "More details are needed to ascertain whether he was killed in the fighting or after his capture," the agency said.

Gravy Train Ends For African Regimes!

The kind of answer you'd expect from the leaders of that basket case of a continent...most of whom have the same mind set as the late M.G. and are nearly as brutal and certainly as corrupt as their now sadly missed benefactor. Now the gravy train has hit the buffers and that 'chapter has closed', they'll be rattling the old collection box at the soft touches in the West. Give the tossers not a direct cent. All funds to Africa should  be kept well away from grasping government hands. The Salvation Army and genuine agencies are the only trust worthy outfits to funnel funds and aid through.

Former Libyan Jews Recall A Tyrant.

 Gaddafi : He destroyed the Jewish cemeteries in Tripoli and Benghazi and converted synagogues into mosques. He wanted to eliminate the memory of 2,000 years of Jewish people in Libya. Hundreds of years before the Arabs came a conquering, upwards of 30,000 Jews had  lived in what was to become Libya. By 2002, none remained.

He may have gone, but the very same mentality is woven through most of the Arab psyche. Radical Islam is  not just a few thousand going off-message; Radical Islam's philosophy is supported in the hearts of millions of Muslims world wide.
Coming out of the shadows to claim their place at the table in the new Libya, the Muslim Brotherhood. They're best organized and are as interested in democracy as Syria's Assad. The gullible politicians and liberal media in the West are in for much disappointment if they think they can graft their good old NYT's values onto the Islamist wrecking crews.

Mad Dog A Goner!

Mad Dog Gaddafi  is dead. Or he could still rise from his tomb or shape-shift  to a camel. But whatever comes next?

If any sort of democracy evolves from the various groups (and remember...Islam and democracy have proven so far to be mutually exclusive)...if the big D does catch on in Libya, I'll be the first to scoff a jar of what the Brits call Marmite.

The BBC's Matt Danzico went to Philadelphia to find out if today's legal minds would judge America's most famous document - and the Founding Fathers behind it - to be treasonous."

Caucus Calender Crap!

Nevada GOP reconsiders Feb. caucus date - Boston.com: "Nevada GOP Chairwoman Amy Tarkanian told The Associated Press Wednesday that state Republican leaders could reset the date amid concerns that New Hampshire might hold its first-in-the-nation primary in early December. Tarkanian says state Republican leaders could pick a new date before Saturday, when more than 200 rank-and-file Republicans were expected to vote on the matter."

Being a Brit, I find the whole date changing thing like some childish playground game. One lot saying, "but we always go first," while the other juveniles in charge of their respective caucus, play spoiler leapfrog. Jez, it's bad enough having elections going on somewhere in the US every 10 minutes, without all of this petty one-up crap. Grow up the lot of you!

Pak Army Bluster And Point A Lot!

BBC News - Pakistan warns US over unilateral military action: "Washington has for many years urged Islamabad to deal with militants in the area, especially the Haqqani network. It has been blamed for a series of recent attacks in Afghanistan. "If someone convinced me that all problems will be solved by taking action in North Waziristan, I'd do it."

Yeah of course you would, you conniving creeps.  Like the action you took regarding a certain Osama bin-liner who was just over the garden wall from you. As I've said many times before: Pakistan are a treacherous bunch. After all, without their explicit backing there never would have been such an entity as the Taliban; who remain to this day a creature of the Islamists who pervade the Pakistani establishment.
So just keep sending the Drones over and when Pakistani Intel or military bluster and threaten, tell them to piss-off. And stop sending them billions of dollars to spend on who knows what!
