It is well documented that Elvis on his father's side has Scots' ancestry. There's still the Pressley name especially in the east coast of Scotland (the second "s" being dropped by his ancestors some time after the Atlantic crossing) - but it's his mother's side that is rather intriguing :

As unfathomable as it might seem, a little known fact is that Elvis Presley, by matrilineal descent, was halakhically Jewish. A look at the nomination of Elvis for the Jewish-American Hall of Fame yields the following information:

Historian and biographer Elaine Dundy writes about Elvis Aron Presley’s Jewish heritage in her book “Elvis and Gladys”:

“…Nancy Burdine was married to Abner Tackett (Elvis’ great great maternal grandmother). Nancy was of particular interest to Gladys for her Jewish heritage, often remembering Nancy’s sons for their Jewish names Sidney and Jerome. Nancy and Abner had a daughter Martha who married White Mansell. The daughter which they named Octavia, nick-named Doll, who was Elvis’ maternal grandmother.”

“…Doll and Robert had nine children. Gladys Love was the fifth daughter born followed by 3 more brothers and one sister. After his mother died, Elvis personally sought to design his beloved mother’s grave site which included a Star of David on Gladys Love Presley’s tombstone. The decision was made by him in honor of his Jewish heritage. Something his mother was proud of and acknowledged to Elvis at a very early age."

The “public relations offensive,” from the Iranian-backed terrorist organization (though the EU still designates them a charity who happen to have 40,000 rockets - my italics) was built in the Lebanese city of Mleeta and has already become a popular destination spot for locals and tourists alike.

The family-friendly theme park represents the most recent attempt to mainstream antisemitism and hatred of Israel into Lebanese society by the group which has been locked in a bitter struggle with the Jewish state for decades. Hezbollah has finished construction on a multi-million dollar theme park, in hopes of indoctrinating a new generation of terrorists/charity workers.

So..it's better than Disney?

The park, which is featured in a new documentary by VICE Magazine, has barbed wire training camps replete with tanks, rockets and other weapons for visitors to interact with, as well as archival video footage of Hezbollah’s best hits against the Jewish state. Replica war scenes litter the camp and depict scenes of the death and destruction of Israel. (Arutz Sheva)

Simon Peres: A stranger to ever making the right call

President Shimon Peres is under attack for undercutting the elected government's stance on the Iranian threat. Besides stating a position that runs counter to the Prime Minister's in a television interview, he is also reported to have accused Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak, in closed conversations, of "terrible irresponsibility" in the Iranian matter. Peres forgets that he made at least three cardinal mistakes regarding state security. 

(1) The Oslo Accord that he thought would create a new Middle East and instead led to more than 1,000 Israel deaths from terror attacks that emanated from the territory he gave the Arabs.

(2) His support for the 2005 Gaza "Disengagement," which he thought would lead to peace and resulted in rocket attacks on southern Israel. 
(3) His worst miscalculation was his objection to the 1981 attack on the Iraqi nuclear plant.
The Israeli Labor Party - mostly honorable and decent folks - have seldom been able to comprehend that those who seek Israel's destruction are NOT like them! This inability to recognise a snake when it presents itself as a cuddly kitten is not only their Achilles heel, but their non judgement represents almost as big a danger to Israel as her numerous Islamofascist enemies.

Reading Haaretz Brings On Dangerous Delusions!

Seven years ago today, from August 15, 2005 until August 22, 2005, Jewish residents were evacuated from their homes in the Gaza Strip block of communities known as "Gush Katif"...and what a fuckin' big mistake THAT turned out to be! The Israeli left have never understood that dealing with whatever the Imbeciles of Arabia call themselves, can never be in Israel's interest.

Sixty years and nearly as many wars for survival as a nation and Haaretz and their deluded readership still think that if only Israel would put it's head once more onto the Islamist chopping board, then the mad Mullah men would allow the Jewish people some crumbs. It should be an obvious no brainer that this Chamberlain type wishful thinking can only be an invitation to be kicked once more in the gonads. Some people whom one would think should be able to read a script, still day dream - against a backdrop of daily Islamist diatribes threatening genocide -  that continuing dialogue will lead to peace with these Islamofascist Palestinian mutants. NOPE!
