Obama: Just Doing What He Fucking Likes!

Yesterday the United States Supreme Court delivered a ruling on Arizona’s immigration law, aptly described by Rep. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) as “a bit of a mixed bag.” Three-out-of-four provisions of the statute known as SB1070 were struck down, but the really important one requiring police officers to check the status of someone they believe to be in the country illegally was unanimously upheld!
So what does Obama immediately do?No sooner had the court ruled, than the administration acted. Yesterday afternoon the Obama administration announced that it was suspending existing agreements with the Arizona police, and issued a directive telling federal authorities at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) may get from Arizona police. “We will not be issuing detainers on individuals unless they clearly meet our defined priorities,” one official, speaking on the condition he not be named, told the Washington Times. Furthermore, DHS pulled back on a program known as as 287(g) that allows federal officials to deputize local officials for the purposes of making immigration-related arrests. A DHS official said that the Obama administration has decided those agreements are “not useful.” And not just in Arizona. States that have enacted laws similar to Arizona’s will be getting the same treatment! Put simply, Obama is telling everyone who won't do his bidding to swivel! Oh..and there's even a new phone number for the folks in Arizona to call if they don't like the way a law enforcement officer is drinking a coffee or looking at them. 
Anyone who knows Obama's background, his friends and associates, won't be a tad surprised. Obama and the word democracy are mutually exclusive. He's a fake. A con man...and if re-elected, you ain't seen nothing yet...

The US congressman Peter King (above) has held his fifth congressional hearing on dangers posed by the radicalisation of Muslim Americans. As chairman of the committee on homeland security, King has argued that the US faces a pre-eminent threat from homegrown Muslim American terrorists. Last summer he launched the hearings in response to the perceived danger.
Previous hearings have examined the scope of radicalisation in US communities, Muslim American radicalisation in US prisons, the Somali militant group al-Shabab's efforts at Muslim American recruitment and the threat to US military communities posed by homegrown terrorists.
Wednesday's hearing, entitled "The American Muslim Response to Hearings on Radicalisation within their Community", was aimed at gauging the impact the previous meetings have had on the nation's Muslim population.
In his opening statement King insisted the discussion was essential to US national security, citing statistics that showed 90% of terrorist attacks have been carried out by Muslims.

While noting that the "overwhelming majority of Muslim-Americans are outstanding Americans", King added "the reality is that the Islamist terrorist threat comes from that community". He referenced a recent Pew Poll that he said demonstrated "16% of Muslim Americans have a favourable or only a somewhat unfavourable view of al-Qaida". "That adds up to almost 440,000 people who are living in this country," he said. "That is why we have held this series of hearings and why we will not back down."
The New York congressman invited three witnesses to testify: Dr Zuhdi Jasser, president and founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy; Asra Nomani, a former Wall Street Journal reporter and the author of Standing Alone – An American Woman's Struggle for the Soul of Islam; and Dr Qanta AA Ahmed, author of In the Land of Invisible Women, a memoir on living and working as a western Muslim woman in Saudi Arabia. Each maintained the hearings are a key tool in combating a growing threat.

"What these hearings provide is a dialogue," Jasser said. The danger of homegrown terrorism should not be insulated by religion, he argued. "The threat, if anything, is growing."
The Arizona physician and navy veteran has been one of King's most stalwart allies in advocating aggressive scrutiny of Muslim Americans. Jasser has been criticised for his role in narrating a film called The Third Jihad, which posits that American Muslims of all stripes are in the midst of an effort to seize control of the country. The film was shown to nearly 1,500 NYPD officers in training, prompting the predictably massive backlash from Muslim community groups and legal organisations.
Nomani, also an outspoken supporter of the NYPD's Muslim surveillance efforts, said the Muslim community needed to "grow up". "Americans are very frustrated with Muslims," she said, arguing that Muslims are "wound collectors".
"When you have that cycle of wounds you create a circle of denial," she said. "So that you end up saying: 'You're picking on us.'"
Ahmed said Muslim American communities were reminiscent of authoritarian Islamist regimes she had visited abroad. "I've seen the impacts of violent Islamist extremism," she said. "It's clear that similar patterns are at work here in the United States."
Ahmed maintained that the hearings were not an occasion to promote*Islamophobia but rather an opportunity to advance critical debate. "This is not a civil rights issue," she said.

The Buck Never Stops Here!

President Obama was blaming politics for inaction on immigration as he spoke to around 1000 Hispanic supporters in Orlando recently. Disingenuous? More than just a tad...  

Let's have just two fact checks here, Mr President!

Immigration: During his 2008 campaign, Obama relentlessly promised Hispanic voters that one of his first priorities would be to bring about a comprehensive plan for immigration (illegals and otherwise) and pass it into law. For his first two years in office, President Obama had large majorities in both Houses and obviously this meant he had control of the government regarding numbers. But during this period he did nothing about immigration. He never as much as presented an Immigration Bill - and had he - he wouldn't have needed a single Republican vote in order to have it passed! It's taken him 3.5 years - by coincidence no doubt, five months just before a re-election bid and a potential 21 million Hispanic votes for the taking - to bring forth his half-assed, stop-gap measure. 
Oh...and as for Hispanic employment prospects during Obama's reign: Hispanic unemployment has risen over 11% since Obama took office.(Gov. figures).
The Budget: As far as the two budgets Obama presented - and it only takes a simple majority to pass a budget - 51 in the Senate - the Democrats did not pass the President's two budgets. In fact, the last 2 budgets that Obama proposed did not get a single vote....not one single Democrat voted for his budgets!
The above are just two examples from The Obama Catalogue of Blame Games; always sending the tab to the opposition when really he, his party and administration should shoulder - among others - these two major failures. For it was the Democrats - and they alone - that were responsible for the failure to pass a budget and immigration  legislation during the first two years, when they had over all control.

Obama relies on his charm, charisma and articulate speech making to shepherd enough Democrat voters, who never actually fact check him about anything he ever says; for it certainly can't be his honesty or track record that might well have them flocking once more into his ballot box. Isaac Donald "Don" Everly (born February 1, 1937) and Phillip "Phil" Everly (born January 19, 1939), together known as the Everly Brothers, are country-influenced rock and roll performers, known for steel-string guitar playing and close harmony singing. What gives them their particularly unique sound is not just their distinctive voices, they also sing using vocal harmony mostly based on parallel thirds. With this, each line can often stand on its own as a melody line. This is in contrast to classic harmony lines which, while working well alongside the melody, are not as melodic by themselves.  The late, great Chet Atkins (he died June 30, 2001) became an early champion of The Everly Brothers. The Everlys signed to Cadence Records and entered the recording studio for their first session in February 1957; recording  "Bye Bye Love" which reached #2. The song, written by husband and wife Felice and Boudleaux Bryant, became the Everly Brothers' first million-seller.  The duo had hits in the United States and the United Kingdom, the biggest being "Wake Up Little Susie," "All I Have to Do Is Dream," "Bird Dog" and "Problems," all penned by the Bryants. The Everlys also found success as songwriters; among their songs were Don's "(Till) I Kissed You," which hit #4 on the US charts and especially their international smash hit "Cathy's Clown" (written by Don and Phil) which sold over eight million copies.The brothers toured extensively with Buddy Holly during 1957 and 1958. Don claimed Holly to be a generous songwriter who wrote the song "Wishing" for them. Phil Everly was one of Buddy Holly's pallbearers at his funeral in February 1959. Over the years, the Everlys have been guests on many a project; Paul Simon's"Graceland" album being one example. The 8th Congressional District, City Councilman Charles Barron is running against state Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries for the Democratic nomination to succeed retiring Rep. Ed Towns. Yesterday, the African-American Charles Barron picked up an endorsement from former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke! Duke, a self-described “white nationalist,” clarified his reasoning for backing one black American against another black American in a race far away from his home state of Louisiana. “In a race for Congress between an anti-Zionist black activist and a black activist who is a bought and paid for Zionist Uncle Tom, I’ll take the anti-Zionist any day!” 

The reason for Duke’s support is obvious: Since before and after Barron’s election to City Council in 2001, he has associated himself with anti-Israel groups and has regularly demonized the State of Israel. Barron - among other anti-Israel and Jewish statements - has also insisted that 'Israel should never have been created.'

Israel’s new coalition government is an opportunity to restart negotiations with the Palestinians, Vice Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz told US President Barack Obama in an impromptu meeting at the White House yesterday. Mofaz was meeting with US National Security Adviser Tom Donilon when several minutes into the meeting, Obama decided to join the two. Mofaz told Obama that the new 94-member coalition, which was set up in Israel after his party Kadima joined the government, posed a window of opportunity to advance the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.(Bicom)

Jez, what's happening? VP Mofaz sounding more like the deluded Peace Now brigade with leftie rag Haaretz the nodding dog in attendance. And just who among the Fatah/Hamas Islamofascist entities - which they are- can Israel make peace with? NONE!
Over eighty percent of Jordan is Palestinian; Jordan is the Palestinian state and the solution. Israel should just get on with the inevitable: annex Judea and Samaria and follow the example of India: PARTITION.
