As a former mayor of NYC his letter below informs us that Mr Koch knows the difference between a rock on the head and a non violent metaphor. 

 I was attacked by “nonviolent” Arab rock throwers while touring the old Jewish quarter of Jerusalem in 1991. I needed nine stitches but was fortunate to have suffered only relatively minor injuries. If my attackers’ aim had been a little sharper, I could have lost an eye, or worse.

Many Israelis as well as foreign tourists have been badly injured, sometimes permanently maimed, in such “nonviolent” assaults. Israelis have even been murdered by rock throwing. Last September, Asher Palmer, 25, and his infant son, Yonatan, were killed when “nonviolent” rocks were thrown at their car, causing a fatal crash.

We may disagree on borders, settlements, refugees or other contentious Arab-Israeli issues. But can’t we all agree that in the English language, the terms “nonviolent” and “rock throwing” are mutually exclusive?

Dr. Rosenne added that according to the Geneva Convention, all the Jewish communities are legal, saying, “Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention says that an occupying power cannot forcibly move citizens to occupied territory. This was true during World War II when the Germans forcefully moved German citizens to occupied Polish territories. In our case, Israel never occupied Judea and Samaria. Judea and Samaria is an area that has never belonged to another country. Jordanian occupation was never recognized, just as the Egyptian occupation of Gaza was not recognized. The fate of these areas should be determined by negotiations among the parties. The settlers never forcibly entered anywhere, nor were they moved there, so they are perfectly legal.”

He also noted that, according to the Geneva Convention, terrorists imprisoned in Israel should not be considered prisoners of war.

“The Geneva Convention states that a prisoner of war is a man who openly carried weapons and wore uniforms and respected the laws of war,” said Dr Rosenne. “The terrorists do not carry arms openly, they do not have uniforms and they do not respect the laws of war when they kill children. They are not party to the conflict because no Arab state has adopted them. Nevertheless, Israel allows every terrorist to meet with an attorney.” (C) Elad Benari.

Grad Rocket Fired at Southern City of Eilat!

A Grad rocket has landed in the southern Israeli city of Eilat. District police chief Ron Gertner told Israeli radio the rocket had been fired from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. He added it struck a construction site close to a residential area shortly after midnight local time. No damage or injuries were reported. The blast took place as thousands of Israelis head to the resort town for the Jewish holiday of Passover.

Rocket attacks from Egyptian soil are infrequent. The last rocket attack against Eilat launched from the Sinai was in 2010, which hit the nearby Jordanian town of Aqaba, killing one person and injuring another four.
Eilat’s Mayor, Meir Yitzhak-Halevy, told the Jerusalem Post that the city would function as normal despite the attack.

A wave of unrest has hit the Sinai Peninsula recently. In particular, the toppling of former president Hosni Mubarak has led to increased terrorist activity in Sinai, and greater movement of arms and terrorists crossing from the Gaza Strip into Egypt.

Equation: Rockets are being fired at Israel from Egyptian territory. Hold Egypt responsible. If they won't or can't control the Islamic scum who are firing them, then just take back the Sinai...you will have to do so anyway when the Islamofascist Muslim Brotherhood are the power in Egypt and will break the so called peace treaty.

In a new poem, *"What Needs to Be Said," the German writer, who only admitted his membership in the Waffen SS in 2006, states that Israel's threats of military attack against Iran are unjustified.

Note: The Waffen SS was deemed a criminal organisation and responsible for the administration of the Nazi death camps. It's members participated in other brutalities and atrocities against civilian populations across Europe.

The Israeli government slammed Grass on Wednesday.

“It needs to be said that blood libels are a European tradition ahead of Passover. It used to be Christian children whose blood the Jews allegedly used for their matzot. Today it’s the Iranian people that the Jewish people allegedly seeks to *annihilate,” said Emmanuel Nahshon, an Israeli envoy to Berlin.
“We want to live in peace with our neighbors. And we aren’t ready to take on the role in the way the Germans deal with their past that Günter Grass wants to attribute to us.”

* What needs to be said is: He took his life long oath of allegiance to Hitler, got his SS tattoo and had the Nazis won WW2 he would have no doubt be writing an ode to the glories of his Fuhrer and the Third Reich! Who the fuck is he to come moralising to anyone, especially the Jewish people. Can't the old Nazi bastard understand that it is his friends in Islamofascist Iran that do all the "annihilation" talk!
