Major Buyers Begin To Shun Iranian Oil!
Following the announcement this week by the European Union that its member states will cease imports of Iranian crude oil, Japan said yesterday that it would also consider cutbacks in its purchases of Iranian oil. A report by Reuters news agency also noted that China has cut its purchases of Iranian oil by half this month, and is set to extend its cuts into February. the EU, China and Japan account for about half of the totality of Iranian exports of 2.6 billion barrels of oil per day.

So this is Iranian waters? I don't think so...

International sanctions, according to Reuters, are also beginning to have a real affect on daily life in Iran, where the rial currency has devalued and people are rushing to convert savings into dollars.  An additional sign that Iran is suffering under the sanctions came with an announcement this week that Tehran was interested in resuming talks on its nuclear programme. Speaking at a joint news conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Teheran had “responded in kind” to “an expression of willingness by the West to resume negotiations” that he had brought.

Despite this conciliatory steps Iran has also continued its sabre-rattling as the country’s semi-official Fars news agency reported that the Revolutionary Guard would hold naval exercises in the strategic Strait of Hormuz in February. The announcement, made on Thursday, came only two days after the Iranian navy completed another set of exercises near the strait, which is the passageway for about one-third of the world’s oil tanker traffic.

Tehran’s naval manoeuvres come alongside threats made by Iran earlier this week to close the Straits of Hormuz.  In this regard, British Defence Secretary Philip Hammons, speaking in Washington DC yesterday, delivered a statement warning Iran that any attempt to close the Strait would be ‘illegal and unsuccessful’, and noted that the joint US and UK naval presence in the Gulf was appreciated by Britain’s ‘regional partner'. (2) The Bros officially break the peace treaty that Egypt signed with Israel in 1982. Then, as expected the Obama Administration and Europe does nothing but make windies from their posteriors when they are supposed to be the guarantors of said peace treaty.

(3) Israel actions the default clause: Treaty scrapped; so they officially take back the Sinai.

Land For Peace? You're Taking The Piss!

The rise of the forces of jihadist Islam in Egypt places the US and other Western powers in an uncomfortable position. The US is the guarantor of Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel. That treaty is based on the proposition of land for peace. Israel gave Egypt Sinai in 1982 and in exchange it received a peace treaty with Egypt. Now that the Islamists are poised to take power, the treaty is effectively null and void.

The question naturally arises: Will the US act in accordance with its role as guarantor of the peace and demand that the new Egyptian government give Sinai back to Israel? Because if the Obama administration or whatever administration is in power when Egypt abrogates the treaty does not issue such a demand, and stand behind it, and if the EU does not support the demand, the entire concept of land-for-peace will be exposed as a hoax.

Indeed the land-for-peace formula will be exposed as a twofold fiction. First, it is based on the false proposition that the peace process is a two-way street. Israel gives land, the Arabs give peace. But the inevitable death of the Egyptian- Israeli peace accord under an Egyptian jihadist regime makes clear that the land-for-peace formula is a one-way street. Israeli land giveaways are permanent. Arab commitments to peace can be revoked at any time.

China Partners With Better Place On Electric Vehicle Center.

China Southern Power Grid (CSG) and Better Place, the Israeli provider of global electric car networks, announced the opening of their Switchable Electric Car Experience Center in Guangzhou’s Pearl River New Town. The center will demonstrate the technology behind Better Place’s “battery swap stations” for electric cars. “This marks Guangzhou as the starting point for EV [Electric Vehicle] network infrastructure in the five Southern provinces served by CSG,” says Better place.

CSG, according to Better Place, is aiming to implement China’s national energy conservation and low emission strategy, and implement EV infrastructure construction in accordance with local needs.

Muslim Brotherhood leads as final stage of Egyptian parliamentary elections begin...


The M.B's catchy sounding Freedom and Justice Party gets the thumbs up from the Left and Liberal types...who amusingly, would be the first for the chop!

(Just think National Socialist Movement clutching a Koran) - The M.B's look set to win the elections for the lower house of the Egyptian parliament. The party has won the first two rounds of the voting, with the third round set to begin this week. Final results for the election to the lower house are expected by 13 January. Elections for the upper house of the parliament are due to take place in January and February. Presidential elections, meanwhile, are scheduled to take place before July.

The new parliament is to select a 100-member committee that will begin the writing of a new constitution for Egypt. The hard-line Salafi Islamist al-Nour party was second in the elections so far, raising the possibility of an Islamist majority in the Egyptian parliament. However, leaders of the Freedom and Justice Party have sought to calm fears in the West, stating that ‘all political forces’ in Egypt will play their part in the writing of the new constitution. (A stunt straight out of Hitler's book for Mr N. Chamberlain and galloping gullible types).


Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist group which rules the Gaza Strip and has been moving toward a partnership with the Palestinian Authority’s ruling Fatah party, has openly proclaimed itself the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

This development took place during the visit to Cairo of Hamas’s Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. It should be remembered that Hamas not only calls for Israel’s destruction but for genocide against Jews generally. It was Haniyeh’s first trip abroad since Hamas seized the Gaza Strip in 2007.
